FAQ (overview)

General

What are the local taxes and costs that are on my invoice?

The local taxes and costs consist of 2 components that we have bundled into 1 price for your convenience. For the most part, this consists of tourist tax, namely € 2.10 per person per night. This amount is collected by the local municipality via the accommodation provider and is mandatory for everyone who stays overnight within the municipality of Veere. The remaining € 0.40 is intended as a contribution to the Event Contribution Fund Badplaats Domburg. This is used to organize events and activities for tourists and locals all year round.

All accommodations within our hotel group have free wireless internet.

Stay

As soon as you book directly via our website, you will always pay the cheapest and therefore best price. As soon as you book a room via an intermediary such as Booking.com or Expedia.com, the price will be on average up to 15% higher. This is the reason why we do not have any additional discounts or discount promotions.

Both Hotel Bosch en Zee and Hotel in den Brouwery have a lift. Please note! This lift does not serve all floors. There are room types on the upper floor that are not accessible by lift. Hotel Duinlust does not have a lift and all rooms can only be reached by stairs.

Houserules

The receptions of Hotel In den Brouwery, Hotel Bosch en Zee and Hotel Duinlust are open during the season (approximately 1.4 to 1.11) until 18:00.

If you wish to arrive after closing time, we kindly request that you contact the reception by telephone on your day of arrival around 16:00. You will then receive a personal code with which you can collect your key from the key safe 24 hours a day. This means that you can check in 24 hours a day.

Pets

Dogs are allowed in Hotel In den Brouwery, Hotel Bosch en Zee and in most of the homes of Les Maisons Holiday Homes (except Brouwerijweg 35, Poldertje 3 and Ewout van Dishoeckstraat 9/11 upper floors). We allow a maximum of 1 dog per accommodation. Please note that dogs are not allowed in rooms type A, C and F in Hotel In den Brouwery.

As of January 1, 2022, we will allow dogs in more rooms than before. This has the advantage for you that when booking directly, you are no longer required to first manually request whether you can stay with a dog, as long as you indicate bringing a dog online by selecting the option "with dog". If, against all expectations, there is no room available where you can stay with a dog, you will hear from us shortly. Please note that you book the correct room type at Hotel In den Brouwery. The applicable rate is calculated directly when booking online.

It is possible that when you book via an external website, the price for a dog is not shown. Please note that due to the automated working method of online travel agencies such as Booking.com, you must always discuss your stay with a dog in advance. We always advise you to book directly via our own website for the lowest rate.

Please note that dogs are not allowed in areas with carpet and on furniture. In holiday homes, they are of course not allowed in the bedrooms. If during cleaning we find that these rules are violated, you may be charged extra cleaning costs. We appreciate it if you follow these rules and keep the accommodation tidy for yourself and other guests.
